因 我 们 行 事 为 人 ， 是 凭 着 信 心 ， 不 是 凭 着 眼 见 。
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

凡 事 都 是 为 你 们 ， 好 叫 恩 惠 因 人 多 越 发 加 增 ， 感 谢 格 外 显 多 ， 以 致 荣 耀 归 与 神 。

For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

我 们 四 面 受 敌 ， 却 不 被 困 住 。 心 里 作 难 ， 却 不 至 失 望 。

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

那 吩 咐 光 从 黑 暗 里 照 出 来 的 神 ， 已 经 照 在 我 们 心 里 ， 叫 我 们 得 知 神 荣 耀 的 光 ， 显 在 耶 稣 基 督 的 面 上 。

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

我 们 原 不 是 传 自 己 ， 乃 是 传 基 督 耶 稣 为 主 ， 并 且 自 己 因 耶 稣 作 你 们 的 仆 人 。

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

我 们 众 人 既 然 敞 着 脸 ， 得 以 看 见 主 的 荣 光 ， 好 像 从 镜 子 里 返 照 ， 就 变 成 主 的 形 状 ， 荣 上 加 荣 ， 如 同 从 主 的 灵 变 成 的 

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

神 的 应 许 ， 不 论 有 多 少 ， 在 基 督 都 是 是 的 ， 所 以 借 着 他 也 都 是 实 在 的 ， （ 实 在 原 文 作 阿 们 ） 叫 神 因 我 们 得 荣 耀 。

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

我 们 所 夸 的 ， 是 自 己 的 良 心 ， 见 证 我 们 凭 着 神 的 圣 洁 和 诚 实 ， 在 世 为 人 ， 不 靠 人 的 聪 明 ， 乃 靠 神 的 恩 惠 ， 向 你 们 更 是 这 样 。

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

我 们 受 患 难 呢 ， 是 为 叫 你 们 得 安 慰 得 拯 救 。 我 们 得 安 慰 呢 ， 也 是 为 叫 你 们 得 安 慰 。 这 安 慰 能 叫 你 们 忍 受 我 们 所 受 的 那 样 苦 楚 。

And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

我 们 在 一 切 患 难 中 ， 他 就 安 慰 我 们 ， 叫 我 们 能 用 神 所 赐 的 安 慰 ， 去 安 慰 那 遭 各 样 患 难 的 人 。

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
