箴言 Proverbs 19:14

房屋錢財、是祖宗所遺留的．惟有賢慧的妻、是耶和華所賜的。
House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

箴言 Proverbs 19:13

愚昧的兒子、是父親的禍患．妻子的爭吵、如雨連連滴漏。
A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.

箴言 Proverbs 19:12

王的忿怒、好像獅子吼叫．他的恩典、卻如草上的甘露。
The king’s wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.

箴言 Proverbs 19:10

愚昧人宴樂度日、是不合宜的．何況僕人管轄王子呢。
Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.

箴言 Proverbs 19:09

作假見證的、不免受罰．吐出謊言的、也必滅亡。
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

箴言 Proverbs 19:08

得着智慧的、愛惜生命、保守聰明的、必得好處。
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

箴言 Proverbs 19:07

貧窮人弟兄都恨他．何況他的朋友、更遠離他．他用言語追隨、他們卻走了。
All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.

箴言 Proverbs 19:06

好施散的、有多人求他的恩情．愛送禮的、人都為他的朋友。
Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.

箴言 Proverbs 19:05

作假見證的、必不免受罰．吐出謊言的、終不能逃脫。
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.

箴言 Proverbs 19:04

財物使朋友增多．但窮人朋友遠離。
Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.
