基 督 差 遣 我 ， 原 不 是 为 施 洗 ， 乃 是 为 传 福 音 。 并 不 用 智 慧 的 言 语 ， 免 得 基 督 的 十 字 架 落 了 空 。

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

弟 兄 们 ， 我 借 我 们 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 名 ， 劝 你 们 都 说 一 样 的 话 。 你 们 中 间 也 不 可 分 党 。 只 要 一 心 一 意 彼 此 相 合 。

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

神 是 信 实 的 ， 你 们 原 是 被 他 所 召 ， 好 与 他 儿 子 ， 我 们 的 主 耶 稣 基 督 ， 一 同 得 分 。

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

愿 恩 惠 平 安 ， 从 神 我 们 的 父 ， 并 主 耶 稣 基 督 ， 归 与 你 们 。

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

我 常 为 你 们 感 谢 我 的 神 ， 因 神 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 所 赐 给 你 们 的 恩 惠 。

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

人 有 见 识 ， 就 不 轻 易 发 怒 。 宽 恕 人 的 过 失 ， 便 是 自 己 的 荣 耀 。

The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

愚 昧 人 宴 乐 度 日 ， 是 不 合 宜 的 ， 何 况 仆 人 管 辖 王 子 呢 ？

Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.

得 着 智 慧 的 ， 爱 惜 生 命 ， 保 守 聪 明 的 ， 必 得 好 处 。 

He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

人 的 愚 昧 ， 倾 败 他 的 道 。 他 的 心 也 抱 怨 耶 和 华 。

The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.

心 无 知 识 的 ， 乃 为 不 善 。 脚 步 急 快 的 难 免 犯 罪 。

Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
