箴言 Proverbs 14:16

智慧人懼怕、就遠離惡事．愚妄人卻狂傲自恃。
A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

箴言 Proverbs 14:15

愚蒙人是話都信．通達人步步謹慎。
The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

箴言 Proverbs 14:14

心中背道的、必滿得自己的結果．善人必從自己的行為得以知足。
The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

箴言 Proverbs 14:13

人在喜笑中、心也憂愁．快樂至極、就生愁苦。
Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.

箴言 Proverbs 14:12

有一條路人以為正．至終成為死亡之路。
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

箴言 Proverbs 14:11

奸惡人的房屋必傾倒．正直人的帳棚必興盛。
The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.

箴言 Proverbs 14:10

心中的苦楚、自己知道．心裏的喜樂、外人無干。
The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.

箴言 Proverbs 14:09

愚妄人犯罪、以為戲耍．〔或作贖愆祭愚弄愚妄人〕正直人互相喜悅。
Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

箴言 Proverbs 14:08

通達人的智慧、在乎明白己道．愚昧人的愚妄、乃是詭詐．〔或作自欺〕
The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.

箴言 Proverbs 12:18

口 吐 真 言 、 永 遠 堅 立 ． 舌 說 謊 話 、 只 存 片 時 。
True lips are certain for ever, but a false tongue is only for a minute.
